Resumption of Adult Day Service at Older Persons’ Commission
The Adult Day Service (ADS) at the Older Persons’ Commission (OPC) resumed operations on March 1. ADS is an incredibly important service, not only for an individual living with dementia, other memory issues, or disabilities, but also for their caregivers. Participants benefit from time spent in a safe, caring, and enriching environment, and caregivers receive peace of mind and much-needed respite from constant responsibilities and anxiety. Advanced safety and sanitation measures have been implemented to ensure the health and security of participants, families, caregivers and staff.
